Synopsis[]
A fuel tanker lost control while driving in a suburban district, bashing several vehicles in its way before ramming into a restaurant. Several damaged vehicles are disrupting traffic, and civilians are injured in the ensuing chaos, with onlookers gathering near the mission site. Volatile substances leaking from the trailer pose a huge fire hazard.
Walkthrough[]
The tanker's explosion is inevitable and will happen once the final casualty on the scene is withdrawn, which leaves ample time to prepare.
Send in a personnel transporter (with 6 police officers), 1 fire truck, 1 equipment vehicle (with at least 1 firefighter), 1 fully crewed ambulance and a towing vehicle.
Use the towing vehicle to reposition the 2 wrecks blocking traffic and avoid congestions near the tanker. One of them has a casualty trapped inside so transport them from the scene immediately and move the vehicles away. Keep the doctor at the scene and summon 1 ambulance with just paramedics so they can hitch a ride .
There are two more casualties in the restaurant, while the tanker driver is also trapped in the vehicle. Inspect and transport most of them but keep one at the scene, either inside a fully occupied ambulance or on the ground with an accompanying doctor. Move the units close to the tanker away and target the fuel trailer with the fire truck while also keeping distance.
Use the police officers' sheer quantity to disperse crowds and seal off locations they may approach the truck from. If needed to be, firefighters can also join the fray and manually move them. The fuel tank has a relatively large blast radius, so make sure the personnel and civilians are sufficiently distant. Cutting off the traffic goes a long way, but is also recommended and easily done by blocking the road with any unit.
Once the last casualty is withdrawn, the fuel explodes unexpectedly in a cut-scene, reducing the truck to scrap. Fortunately, the nearby fire truck will help in putting it out, and the mission should conclude after a minute or two.

Trivia[]
- Passing the mission with 90%+ efficiency nets the player the Firefighting Award. In this case, it's ironic for several reasons:
- While fire units are required to handle this incident with impact equally shared between other forces, they only provide technical assistance.
- Objectives pertaining to fires do not even appear, despite its inevitable appearance.
- However, this is contradicted by the steam image depiction, where the intact tanker is ablaze with the fire spreading along the fuel trail.
- Despite the title, the building struck by the tanker is actually not a civilian residence, but rather a public business venue.
- The player is only tasked with stopping the fire and saving anyone injured. Which explains why the tank isn’t towed as it’s likely the forensics team will take care of it.
